1. Call to Order
The meeting was called to order at 3:30 p.m. with Tom Marks in the Chair.
2. Approval of Agenda

Seconded by: Councillor Noble
RESOLVED THAT the agenda for the October 22, 2024 County of Elgin/Central
Elgin Joint Accessibility Advisory Committee meeting be approved as presented.

3. Adoption of Minutes
Moved by: Councillor Noble
Seconded by: Dave Baughman
RESOLVED THAT the minutes of the July 09, 2024 meeting be adopted.
Motion Carried.
4. Disclosure of Pecuniary Interest and the General Nature Thereof

6.1 Manager of Human Resources - 2024 Annual Accessibility Report
Update (verbal)
The Manager of Human Resources provided a verbal update on the 2024
Annual Accessibility Status Report. The Manager of Human Resources
stated that this is an internal report to track the status of the Accessibility
Plan and the process of preparing this report has begun. The Manager of
Human Resources has provided the report to the Local Municipal Partners
and the County of Elgin's Leadership Team to receive any updates on the
status of any accessibility items that have gone forward in 2024. The
Manager of Human Resources stated that the report will likely go to this
committee in early 2025 and then go to the Councils of both the County of
Elgin and the Municipality of Central Elgin.

RESOLVED THAT we do now proceed into closed meeting session in
accordance with the Municipal Act to discuss the following matters under
Municipal Act Section 239 (2):
Closed Meeting Item #1 - Manager of Human Resources - Consideration of New
Member Applications
(b) personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local
board employees.

RESOLVED THAT we do now rise and report.

RESOLVED THAT the Joint Accessibility Advisory Committee recommend that
the Councils of the County of Elgin and Central Elgin appoint Carleen Green to
the Joint Accessibility Advisory Committee,

The Joint Accessibility Advisory Committee will meet again at the call of the
Chair.
