1. Call to Order
The meeting was called to order at 12:25 p.m. with the Warden Giguere in the
chair.
2. Election of Chair and Vice Chair
The County Clerk/Manager of Administrative Services called for nominations for
Chair of the Homes Committee of Management. Deputy Warden Jones
nominated Warden Giguere. Warden Giguere accepted the nomination and took
her seat as Chair.
The Warden then called for nominations for Vice Chair of the Homes Committee
of Management. Councillor Hentz nominated Deputy Warden Jones. Deputy
Warden Jones accepted the nomination.
Moved by: Deputy Warden Jones
Seconded by: Councillor Hentz
RESOLVED THAT Warden Giguere be elected as Chair of the Homes Committee
of the Management for 2026.
Motion Carried.
Moved by: Councillor Hentz
Seconded by: Councillor Widner
RESOLVED THAT Deputy Warden Jones be elected as Vice Chair of the Homes
Committee of Management for 2026.
Motion Carried.
3. Approval of Agenda
Moved by: Councillor Noble
Seconded by: Councillor Leatham
RESOLVED THAT the agenda for the June 9, 2026 Homes Committee of
Management meeting be approved as presented.
Motion Carried.
4. Adoption of Minutes
Moved by: Deputy Warden Jones
Seconded by: Councillor Noble
RESOLVED THAT the minutes of the meeting held on November 25, 2025 be
adopted.
Motion Carried.
6. Disclosure of Pecuniary Interest and the General Nature Thereof
None.

7.1 Director of Homes and Seniors Services - First Quarter Homes
Review
The Director of Homes and Seniors Services presented the report that
provides an overview of the performance of the Elgin County's three Long -
Term Care Homes for the first quarter of 2026.

Seconded by: Councillor Ketchabaw
RESOLVED THAT the report titled "First Quarter Homes Review" from the
Director of Homes and Seniors Services dated June 9, 2026 be received
and filed.
