TO DETERMINE THE AMOUNT OF SALARIES AND WAGES AND CONFIRM

Passed 5th April 1855.
BE IT THEREFORE enacted by the Municipal Council
of the County of Elgin by and under authority of the Munici-
pal Corporations Acts for Upper Canada and by virtue of the
same:
That William McKay be Clerk of this Council and
shall receive as a salary the sum of One hundred pounds
per annum -
That Henry Black be Treasurer of this County and
shall receive a salary of Seventy pounds in lieu of all fees
That George T. Claris, G. Matthew Childs be Auditors
and receive the sum of ten shillings per day -
That Richard Willis be messenger and receive seven
shillings and sixpence per day-
That Charles Fraser be County Engineer and receive
fifteen shillings per day -
That James Greer be Road Superintendent and receive
fifteen shillings per day.
AND BE IT FURTHER enacted that By-Law number Four-
teen heretofore passed be and is hereby repealed.
