034 COUNTY OF ELGIN By-Law No. 34 TO GRANT TO THE UNION ROAD COMPANY AN EXTENSION OF TIME FOR Trlli COMPLETION OF THE UNION ROAD IN Trlli TOWNSHIP OF SOUTHWOLD." Passed 28th December 1855 WHEREAS the President and Directors of the Union Road Company have petitioned the County Council of the County of Elgin for an extension of the time for completing said Road and whereas by the Twenty-seventh Section of the Act 16th Victoria Chapter 190 entitled "An Act to amend and con- soldiate the several acts for the formation of Joint Stock Road Companies for the construction of Roads and other works in Upper Canada~it is amongst other things enacted that further time may be granted to companies for completing Roads by a By-Law of the County Council in which such Road shall be situate. BE IT THEREFORE enacted by the Municipal Council of the County of Elgin under the authority aforesaid that the time for completing said Union Road shall be extended till the fourteenth day of June One thousand Eight hundred and fifty-seven, and that the said County Council hereby grant to said Union Road Company till said time to complete said Road.
