SHIP OF SOUTHWOLD.
WHEREAS the President and Directors of the
Union Road Company have petitioned the County Council
of the County of Elgin for a further extension of the
time for completing such road
AND WHEREAS by the Twenty-seventh Section of
the Act 16th Victoria Chapter 190 entitled "An Act to
amend and consolidate the several acts for the forma-
tion of Joint Stock Road Companies for the construction
of Road and other works in Upper Canada", it is amongst
other things enacted that further time may be granted
to companies for completing Roads by a By-Law of the
County Council in which such road shall be situate.
AND WHEREAS By-Law number Thirty-four hereto-
fore passed by this Council extended the time for com-
pleting said road till the fourteenth day of June One
thousand Eight hundred and fifty-eight and a further
extension of time is required it having been represent-
ed to this Council that said road will not be completed
by that time
BE IT THEREFORE enacted by the Municipal Coun-
cil of the County of Elgin under the authority aforesaid
that the time for completing said Union Road shall be ex-
tended till the sixteenth day of June One thousand Eight
hundred and fifty-nine and that sáid Council of the County
of Elgin hereby grant to said Union Road Company till said
time to complete said Road.
