Passed 27 January 1860. WHEREAS it is deemed expedient to grant cer- tain amounts for the improvement of the boundaries be- tween the County of Elgin and the Counties of Kent and Norfolk. BE IT THEREFORE enacted by the Corporation of the County of Elgin by virtue of the Municipal Institutions Act of Upper Canada and it is hereby en- acted by and under authority thereof That the sum of one hundred dollars be granted towards the improvement of the County line between the Townships of Bayham and Houghton And that the sum of one hundred dollars be granted towards the improvement of the County line between the Townships of Aldborough and Orford and that the Reeves of the Townships of Aldborough and Bayham be Commissioners to expend said grants respectively. AND IT IS ALSO enacted that this By-Law shall have no effect until a By-Law in similar terms shall have been passed by the other Counties adjoining thereto.
