By-Law No. 122
"TO APPRORIATE THE SUM OF FIFTY DOJJLARS FOR THE IMPROVEMENT
OF PART OF THE BOUNDARY BETWEEN THE COUNTIES OF ELGIN AND
MIDDLESEX."
Passed 9th November 1864.
WHEREAS it is expedient to improve part of the bound-
ary line between the Counties of Elgin and Middlesex, namely
that portion of the allowance for Road between the Townships
of Delaware in Middlesex and the Township of Southwold in Elgin
from Lot Number one in the first concession of the Township
of Southwold Easterly to the Delaware Graded Road.
BE IT THEREFORE enacted by the Municipal Council of
the Corporation of the County of Elgin by virtue and under
authority of the 327th Section of the Municipal Institutions
Act, Chapter 22 of the Consolidated Statutes for Upper Canada.
THAT the sum of Fifty Dollars be appropriated towards
the improvement of that part of the allowance for Road between
the Counties of Elgin and Middlesex which lies between the
Townships of Delaware in Middlesex and Southwold in the County
of Elgin from Lot Number one in the first concession of the
Township of Southwold, Easterly to the Graded Road in Delaware.
AND IT IS ALSO enacted that said sum be appropriated
on condition that the County of Middlesex grant a similar
amount for said Work.
AND IT IS ALSO enacted that the said amount shall
be paid by the County Treasurer on certificate of the Reeve
of Southwold, certifying that the money has been duly expended
and the work performed.
AND that this By-Law shall take effect from and after
the date of the passing thereof.
