130 COUNTY OF ELGIN By-Law No. 1)0 TO AUTHORIZE THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF ELGIN TO APPROPRIATE CERTAIN AMOUNTS ON COUNTY LINES." Passed 2)rd June 1865. WHEREAS it is deemed expedient to make provision for the improvement of the County lines between the County of Elgin and the Counties of Norfolk and Kent. BE IT THEREFORE enacted by the Municipal Council of the County of Elgin by virtue of the )27th Section of the Mun- icipal Institutions 'Act of the Consolidated Statutes for Upper Canada, 22nd Victoria, Chapter 54. THAT the sum of One Hundred Dollars be appropriated for the improvement of the County line between the Townships of B~yham and Houghton and that the Reeve of the Township of Bayham be a commissioner to expend said amount. AND IT IS ALSO enacted that the sum of Two Hundred Dollars be granted to improve the County line between the Townships of Aldborough and Orford and that the Reeve of Ald- borough be a commissioner to expend said amount. AND IT IS ALSO enacted that the sum of Twenty Dollars be appropriated to improve the approaches to the Wardsville Bridge and thatUthe Reeve of Aldborough be a commissioner to expend said amount. AND IT IS ALSO enacted that the County Treasurer is hereby authorized to pay said amounts on the certificates of the Commissioners that said amounts have been duly expended and the work performed. AND that this By-Law shall have no force or effect until a By-Law in similar terms has been passed by the adjoin- ing Counties. St. Thomas County of Elgin 23 June A.
