By-Law No. 181
TO MAKE AN APPROPRIATION TOWARDS THE ERECTION OF A BRIDGE
ACROSS THE RIVER THAMES ON THE COUNTY LINE BETWEEN THE COUNT-
IES OF KENT, ELGIN AND MIDDLESEX."
WHEREAS an appropriation has been made by the
County Council of the County of Kent. for the erection of a
Bridge across the River 'Thames on the County line between
the Counties of Kent, Elgin and Middlesex.
AND ìfHEREAS the Council of the County of Elgin
are desirous of assisting in the erection of said Bridge
by appropriating a sum for one-fourth of the èost of' the
erection thereof not exceeding the sum of seven hundred and
fifty dollars.
BE IT THEREFORE enacted by the Corporation of
the County of Elgin
THAT an appropriation of one-fourth of the cost
not exceeding the sum of seven hundred and fifty dollars be
appropriated by the Corporation of the County of Elgin to-
wards the erection of a Bridge across the River Thames on
the County line between the Counties of Kent, Elgin and
Middlesex.
AND THAT the Treasurer of the County of Elgin is
hereby authorised to pay said amount on certificate of the
Engineer or Engineers appointed by the Counties interested
countersigned by the Warden.
AND IT IS enacted that this By-Law shall be in
force and take effect from'and after the seventeenth day of
June One Thousand Eight Hundred and Sixty-nine.
