205 COUNTY OF ELGIN By~Law No. 205 "TO APPROPRIATE CERTAIN AMOUNTS FOUHE IMPROVEMENT OF COUNTY LINES". Passed 27th January 1871 WHEREAS it is deemed expedient to appropriate certain amounts for the improvement of boundary lines between the County of Elgin and the adjoining counties. BE IT THEREFORE enacted by the Corporation of the County of Elgin under authority and by virtue of the Municipal Institutions Act. That the sum of One Hundred and Fifty Dollars be appropriated towards the erection of a new bridge acrosss Kettle Crekk at the Village of Belmont on the County line between the Counties of Elgin and Middlesex provided the County of Middlesex grant a like amount for said bridges and that Merrett Woodworth be a Commissioner to expend said amount. That the sum of Two Hundred Dollars be granted towards the erection of a bridge across Big Otter Creek on the County line between Elgin and Norfolk provided the County of Norfolk grant a like amount and that James Turnbull be a Commissioner to expend said amount. That the sum of Fifty Dollars be granted for the erection of a bridge across a creek in the First Concession of Aldborough on the County line between Elgin and Kent provided the County of Kent grant a like amount and that John McKillop be a Commissioner to expend said appropriation. AND IT IS ALSO enacted that the By-Law take effect from the 27th day of January A.D. 1871. St. Thomas County of Elgin T.M.
