AND AYLMER
INCORPORATED VILLAGES OF VIENNA
TO FORM THE
IN THE COUNTY OF ELGIN INTO HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICTS AND TO
LIMITS THEREOF
DETERMINE THE
1872.
WHEREAS under the School Act thirty-fourth
Victoria Chapter Thirty-Three of the Statutes of Ontario
Section Forty recites that

Every County Council shall determine the limits
of each High School District for each Grammar
School now existing within the County and may
form the whole or part of one or more Townships
Towns and Villages within its jurisdiction into
a High School District.
And the High School Board of such District shall
possess all the powers wmthin the said District,
for the support and management of their High
School and in respect to the County Council as
are possessed under the Grammar School Acts and
this Act by High School Boards in respect to the
support and Management of the schools under
their care and such County Council may appoint
and determine the continuance and succession in
Office of six duly qualified persons as members
of such High School Board.
Provided however, that existing Grammar School
Divisions already established shall be called
High School Districts and continue as such till
otherwise altered by By-Law of such County
Council
BE IT THEREFORE enacted by the Corporation of
the County of Elgin in County Council assembled and by Virtue
of the Authority aforesaid that the incorporated Villages
of Vienna and Aylmer in the County of Elgin be formed into
High School Districts and the limits of each said High
School District shall be determined as follows -
THAT the incorporated Village of Vienna be a
High School District and that the limits of such High School
District shall be embraced and comprised of the corporation
of said incorporated Village of Vienna and that the Corpora-
tion boundary of said incorporated Village of Vienna shall
be the limits of the High School District of Vienna for the
Grammar School now existing therein.

AND THAT the incorporated Villages of Aylmer be
and is hereby formed into a High School District and that
the Corporation boundary of said incorporated Village of
Aylmer shall be the limits of the Aylmer High School District.
AND IT IS enacted that this By-Law shall take effect
and be in force on the fourteenth day of November one thousand
eight hundred and seventy-two.
