236B COUNTY OF ELGIN By-Law No. 236B "TO CONFIRM BY-LAW NO. 278 OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN- SHIP OF YARMOUTH". Passed 3rd June 1873 WHEREAS under the Municipal Institutions Act it is recited. That no By-Law for the stopping up and sale of any original allowance for road shall have any force until confirmed by a By-Law of the County Council of the county in which the toWnship is situate at an ordinary session of the County Council held not sooner than three months nor later than one year next after the passing there~ore. BE IT THEREFORE enacted that by the Corporation of the County of Elgin in Council assembled that By-Law No. 278 of the Township of Yarmouth, fòr closing up part of original allowance for road between lots 5 & 6 in the 8th concession of Yarmouth and to convey the same to Kenyon Cox of the City of New York, the owner of the adjoining land and which said By-Law was passed on the 20th day of August A.D. 1872.
