By-Law No. 246
TO APPOINT A PERSON TO TAKE THE CENSUS OF THE UNINCORPORATED
VILLAGE OF PORT STANLEY."
Passed 5th February 1874.
WHEREAS it is deemed expedient that the census of
the Village of Port Stanley should be taken to ascertain the
number of inhabitants in said Village.
BE IT THEREFORE enacted by the Council of the County
of Elgin under authority of the Municipal Act.
THAT Joseph R. Bostwick be and is hereby appointed
to take the census of the Village of Port Stanley and neigh-
bourhood according to the plan and Schedule of Lands here-
unto annexed namely;
Acres
All of that part of Lot No. 14 South of present Lake Road 35
All of Lot Number 15 South of Lake Road 100
All of Lot Number 16 South of Lake Road 65
All of Lot Number 16 known' as the Gore 45
All of that part of Lot Number 16 lying South East
of Kettle Creek opposite the first concession of Yar-
mouth 15
All of that part of Letter D lying East of the West
line of Lot Number 16 South of Lake Road and Lot Num-
ber 16 South of Scotch Road 75
All of Lot Number one in Township of Yarmouth 160
495 acres
AND IT IS enacted that the return of the census
hereby required shall be made by the third Tuesday or sixteenth
day of June next.
AND that this By-Law be in force and take effect
from and after the fifth day of February A.D. 1874.
Passed in Council this fifth day of February A.D.
