310 ELGIN COUNTY OF 310 By-Law No A COMMITTEE WITH POWER TO ERECT A BRIDGE JOINT- "TO APPOIN'r IN WITH THE COUNTY OF MIDDLESEX ACROSS THE RIVER THAMES LY " WHEREAS the bridge across the River Thames at or near the Townline between the Townships of Dunwich and Southwold and known as the MacIntosh Bridge being old and decayed, it is deemed necessary that a new structure be erected in lieu thereof by the Counties of Elgin and Middlesex. PLACE OF THE MacINTOSH BRIDGE BE IT THEREFORE enacted by the Corporation of the of Elgin and under authority of the Municipal Act County That the County Council of the County of Elgin co-operate with the County Council of the County of Middle- sex in the erection of a bridge across the River Thames in place of the MacIntosh Bridge and that Warden County of Elgin Reeve of Aldborough Reeve of Dunwich Deputy Reeve of Southwold Reeve of Bayham Edward Hegler Peter Stalker David McLaws lVJark Wallis Alexander McBride be and are hereby appointed a special Committee to act jointly with a Committee of the Middlesex County Council in the erection of said bridge and abutments on such plan and of such materials as may be approved of by said Com- mittee of the County of Elgin. required to pay Warden or Chair- And that the County Treasurer is of the Committees signed by the the orders man.
