314A COUNTY OF ELGIN By-Law No. 314 (A) "TO ESTABLISH A LOCK UP HOUS~ IN THE VILLAGE OF SP~INGFIELD." Passed WHEREAS it is expedient to establish a Lock Up House in the Village of Springfield - BE IT THEREFORE enacted by the Municipal Coun- cil of the County of Elgin in County Council assembled _ That the Lock Up House erected in the Village of Springfield be and the same is hereby established as a Lock Up House and that the Keeper thereof receive the sum of forty dollars per annum as a salary for taking charge of said Lock Up House.
