315B COUNTY OF ELGIN By-Law No. 315 (B) "TO GRANT CERTAIN AMOUNTS TO REPAIR COUNTY BRIDGES." Passed 30 January 1879 WHEREAS certain bridges across the River Thames between the Counties of Elgin and Middlesex having been reported by the County Engineer to require repair, it is deemed necessary to make provisions for the cost of the repairs that may be necessary. BE IT THEREFORE enacted by the Corporation of the County of Elgin in County Council assembled that the sum of three hundred and seventy-five dollars be expended in repairing certain bridges across the River Thames be- tween the Counties of Elgin and Middlesex as follows - For the Coyne Road Bridge - the sum of seventy-five dollars For the Wardsville Bridge - the sum of three hundred dollars AND IT IS ENACTED that the County Engineer be authorized to let contracts for works authorized to be done and in connection with the Middlesex authorities. And the County Treasurer is hereby authorized to pay said amounts or so much thereof as may be re- quired on certificate of the Engineer contersigned by the Warden certifying that the work has been performed to the satisfaction of the Engineer. AND IT IS ALSO enacted that this By-Law shall have no effect until a By-Law granting like amounts be passed by the Council of County of Middlesex. T. W.
