321 COUNTY OF ELGIN By-Law No. 321 TO AMEND BY-LAW NUMBER ~3 TO INCORPORATE THE VILLAGE OF PORT STANLEY AND EXPLAIN TH1L.E.AME". WHEREAS By-Law number 253 was passed to incorporate the Village of Port Stanley and in the boundaries defined therein state "the centre of Kettle Creek" as the boundary in some part thereof. AND WHEREAS the bed of Kettle Creek is liable to change from the force of the current and other causes. BE IT THEREFORE enacted by the Corporation of the County of Elgin in County Council assembled that wherever the words "centre of Kettle Creek" is mentioned in said By-Law as the boundary of said village these words shall be ùnderstood to mean the line marked on a Registered Map of the Village of Port Stanley made by J.D. Baike, Esquire Provincial Land Surveyor and deposited in the Registry Office of the County of Elgin on the twenty-sixth day of March 1879, and marked with dotted lines "old bed of creek" and the said old bed of the creek shall always be held to be the boundary of the said village in that particular part thereof.
