By-Law No. 324
TO AUTHORIZE THE WARDEN AND TREASURER TO BORROW THE SUM_
OF TEN THOUSAND DOLLARS ON THE CREDIT OF THE COUNTY FOR
IMMEDIATE LIABILITIES".
Passed 12 June 1879
BE IT enacted by the Corporation of the County
of Elgin under authority of the Municipal Act.
THAT the Warden and Treasurer of the County of
Elgin be and are hereby authorized to borrow from the
Molson Bank the sum of ten thousand dollars on the credit
of the County for the purposes of meeting payments
falling due before the County rates be paid by the several
Municipalities.
