"TO CONFIRM THE APPOINTMENT

SPECTOR OF THE HOUSE OF INDUSTRY
WHEREAS at a special Session of the Elgin County
Council held on the fifteenth day of December 1882, Kenneth
W. McKay was by resolution appointed Inspector of the Elgin
House of Industry.
BE IT THEREFORE enacted by the Council of the Cor-
poration of the County of Elgin.
That the appointment of Kenneth W. McKay as
Inspector of the Elgin House of Industry at a salary of
eighty dollars per annum be and hereby confirmed by this
Council
