396 COUNTY OF ELGIN By-Law No. 396 "TO CONFIRM THE APPOINTMENT OF MEMBERS OF THE COUNTY BOARD OF EXAMINERS FOR THE EXAMINATION AND LICENSING OF PUBLIC SCHOOL TEACHERS. TO FIX THE AMOUNT THEY S~L RECEIVE FOR THEIR SERVICES AND REPEAL ALL.BY-LAWS HERETOFORE PASSED IN THIS BEHALF". Passed November 20th 1884. BE IT enacted by the County Council of the County of Elgin. THAT W. A. Atkin Inspector, Samuel S. McColl Esqr. John Miller B.A., C.'.R. Gunn M.A. and R. H. . Rutherford M.A., be and are hereby appointed County Board of Examiners for the examination and licensing of Public School Teachers in the County of/Elgin in accordance with the provisions of the Public Schools Act. THAT the remuneration of said Examiners living in the City of St. Thomas be two dollars per day and for all those living out side city, the sum of three dollars per day and mileage at 10 cents per mile. THAT all By-Laws heretofore passed in:tnis be- half be and are hereby repealed. THAT this By-Law take effect and be in force'from and after the date of the passing thereof.
