409 COUNTY OF ELGIN By-Law No. 409 TO AMEND BY-LAW 174 OF THE COUNTY COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF ELGIN". Passed 5 June 1885. WHEREAS it is deemed expedient to amend By-Law No. 174 heretofore passed to establish a new road in lieu of part of the Couhty Line between the Townships of Bayham and Middlèton by opening up a new road leading to said County Line on lot number twenty-one in the eleventh con- cession of the said Township of Bayham and to relinquish all jurisdiction over a portion of the road established by said By-Law Number 174 now used in lieu of said County Line. BE IT THEREFORE enacted by the Corporation of the County of Elgin in County Council assembled: I THAT a new road be hereby established on part of lot number twenty-one in the eleventh concession of the Township of Bayham and described as follows: Commencing on the western limit of the Town Line between the Townships of Bayham and Middleton ten chains northerly from the intersection of the westerly limit of the original road allowance between the tenth and eleventh con- cessions of the Township of Bayham thence south one degree and twenty minutes east, eight chains and twenty-seven links to the road formerly laid out to be used instead of said Town Line. The road to have a width on each side of this line of two rods to and as shown on the plan and survey of said road hereto annexed as made by James A. Bell, Provin- cial Land Surveyor. II THAT so much of By-Law No. 174 as made provision for opening up the following road in part in lieu of the said County Line namely Commencing at the western limit of the allowance for road between the Township of Bayham and Middleton afore- said and in the centre of the allowance for road between lots numbers 20 and 21 in the eleventh concession of the Township of Bayham, thence southerly along the centre of said road between lots numbers 20 and 21, thirty-six chains and ninety-five links more or less to the allowance for road between the tenth and eleventh concession aforesaid be And the same is hereby struck out and that the said new road is hereby established in lieu thereof.
