By-Law No. 415
TO REPEAL BY-LAW NO. 69 AND .!¡AMEND BY-LAW NUMBER BY
RAISING THE AMOUNTS TO BE PAID BY HAWKERS AND PEDLERS FOR A
LICENSE. ':'
Passed 19th November 1885.
WHEREAS it has been deemed expeªî~nt to repeal By-
Law No. 69 and amend By-Law No. 35 by raising the amounts to
be paid by Hawkers and Pedlers for a License.
THEREFORE the Municipal Council of the Corporation
of the County of Elgin enacts.
I That By-Law number sixty-nine be and is hereby
repealed.
II That By-Law number thirty-five be so amended,
that the amount to be paid by Hawkers and Pedlers for a lic-
ense, shall be as follows:
Travelling on foot twenty dollars; with onei'.horse
or other animal fifty dollars and with two horses or other
animals seventy-five dollars.
III That this By-Law shall be in force and take
effect from and after the date of the passing thereof.
