"TO AUTHORIZE THE WARDEN AND TREASURER TO BORROW THE SUN!
OF TWENTY-FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS."
Passed 31st January 1890.
BE IT enacted by the Municipal Council of the Cor-
poration of the County of Elgin under the authority of the
Revised Statutes of Ontario, Chapter 184 Section 413
THAT the Warden and Treasurer be and are hereby
authorized to borrow the sum of twenty-five thousand dollars
in such sums as may be required to meet the current expendi-
ture of the Corporation of the County of Elgin during the
year 1890. The money to be borrowed from the Molsons Bank
or other chartered bank provided the other bank charge a lower
rate of interest.
