By-Law No. 505
TO AUTHORIZE THE WARDEN AND TREASURER TO BORROW THE SUM
OF TWENTY THOUSAND DOLLARS".
Passed 27th January 1893.
BE IT enacted by the Municipal Council of the
Corporation of the County of Elgin under the authority of
the Consolidated Municipal Act 1892,
That the Warden and Treasurer be and are hereby
authorized to borrow the sum of twenty thousand dollars in
such sums as may be required to meet the current expendi-
ture and renew notes of the Corporation of the County of
Elgin during the year 1893.
The money to be borrowed from the Molsons Bank
or other chartered bank provided the other bank charge a
lower rate of interest.
