525 · · · · · · · · · · · COUNTY OF ELGIN By-Law No. 525 "TO DETERMINE WHAT BRIDGES THE COUNTY OF ELGIN WILL MAINTAIN." Passed 7th June 1894. WHEREAS the County Council of the County of Elgin at various times by resolution assumed control and exclusive jurisdiction over certain bridges lying wholly within or on the boundary line between Municipalities composing the said County. AND WHEREAS it is desirable that said bridges as well as all other bridges over which the County Council has exclusive jurisdiction should be assumed by By-Law and that the County Council should determine what bridges they have exclusive jurisdiction over. The Municipal Corporation of the County of Elgin enacts I That the County Council hereby assume and have exclusive jurisdiction over the following County Line Bridges 1. Bothwell Bridge, over River Thames. 2. Wardsvil1e Bridge, over River Thames. 3· Graham Bridge, over River Thames. 4. Coyne Road Bridge, over River Thames. 5. McIntosh Bridge, over River Thames. 6. Eden Bridge between Bayham and Middleton over the Little Otter. 7,· Otter Creek Bridge, between Bayham and Middleton over Otter Creek. 8. Catfish Bridge between Malahide and Dereham over Catfish Creek. 9· Bridge east of Belmont, between North and South Dorchester. 10. Belmont Bridge between South Dorchester and Westminster. ll. Bridge west of Belmont between Yarmouth and Westminster. 12. Kanis Bridge ~ Over Kettle Creek 13· Fingal Bridge . between City and 14. St. George st. Bridge ) County. II That the County Council hereby assume and have exclusive jurisdiction over the following Township Line Bridges. 15.
