By-Law No. 759
"TO AlV1END BY-LAW NO. 754".
WHEREAS By-Law No. 754 was passed by this Council
on the 20th November 1909 and by error the yearly levy and
schedule of payments in the third paragraph thereof are
based upon a five percent rate of interest instead of a
four and one half per cent rate as intended and provided
by the said By-Law.
AND WHEREAS it is necessary to amend said By-Law
to correct the said error.
The Council of the County of Elgin therefore
enacts -
That paragraph 3 of By-Law No. 754 be amended to
read as follows:-
There shall be raised and levied in each year the
sum of two thousand five hundred and twenty-seven dollars
and fifty-eight cents by special rate on all rateable prop-
erty in the said municipality, said amount being sufficient
to discharge the several instalmentsof principal and in-
terest accruing due on the said deb" as the same becomes
respectively payable according to the following schedule:-
