"TO CONFIRM BY-LAW NUMBER 852 OF THE TOWNSHIP OF MALAHIDE'
WHEREAS By-Law No. 852 of the Township of Malahide
for clQsing up and conveying of the allowance for road run-
ning through the south half of the south half of lot number
ten in the first concession of the saœd Township of Malahide,
was passed in Council on the fourteenth day of May 1910.
AND WHEREAS it is desirable that said By-Law should
b~ confirmed bY this Council,
The Elgin County Council therefore enact that By-
Law Number 852 of the Township of Malahide be and is hereby
confirmed.

"A BY-LAW FOR THE CLOSING UP AND CONVEYING UF THE ALLOWANCE
FOR ROAD RUNNING THROUGH THE SOUTH HALF OF THE SOUTH HALF
OF LOT NUMBER TEN IN THE FIRST CONCESSION OF THE TOWNSHIP
OF MALAHIDE AND FOR FIXING AND DECLARING THE TERMS UPON
WHICH THE SAME SHALL BE DISPOSED OF AND CONVEYED",
WHEREAS it is deemed expedient to stop up and dis-
pose00f all the allowance for road running in an easterly
and westerly direction through the south half of the south
half of lot number ten in the first concession of the Town-
ship of Malahide the same being required no longer for a
public highway,
AND WHEREAS public notice has been given as required
by the Consolidated Municipal Act of 1903 of the intention
of this Council to pass a By-Law for closing and disposing
of the said allowance for road and all persons whose lands
might be prejudicially affected thereby have been heard
who petitioned to be so heard.
AN) WHEREAS this Council have agreed to close,dand
dispose of the said allowance for road hereinafter described
to Elijah Clemens, owner of the south part of lot number
ten, concesion one, Township of Malahide for the sum of
twenty do¡¡lars.
THEREFORE be it enacted by the Municipal Council
of the Corporation of the Tow~ship of Malahide
That the allowance for road ~òmprising all and sin-
gular that certain parcel or tract of land and premises
situated, lying and being that portion of (what was formerly)
road division number six running in an easterly and westerly
direction through the south half of the south ,half of lot
number ten in the first concession of the Townsh&p of Malahide,
be and the same is hereby stopped up and closed.
AND BE IT further enacted that the Reeve of this
Municipali ty be and he is hereby authorized and instruc·ted
for and on behalf of this Corporation to execute and attach

the Seal of the Corporation to a Deed of Conveyance of the
above described allowance for road to the said Elijah Clemens
and his assigns for and in consideration of the sum .above
mentioned.
That fuhxs By-Law shall come into full force and
effect immediately after having been confirmed by a By-Law
of the Council of the County of Elgin.
Passed in Council the 14th day of May A.D. 1910.
