"TO AUTHORIZE THE WARDEN AND TREASURER TO BORROW TWENTY
THOUSAND DOLLARS",
Passed 16th June 1911.

The County Council of Elgin enacts;
That the Warden and Treasurer be and are hereby
authorized to renew notes outstanding and to borrow the sum
of twenty thousand dollars, as it may be required to meet
the current expenditure of the Corporation of the County of
Elgin during 1911, and give as security therefor notes of
one thousand dollars each.
