By-Law No. 919
"TO GRA:NT ADDITIONAL AID TO SCHOOLS."
Passed 14th June 1918
The Elgin County Council enacts:
1. That the sum of one thousand six hundred and
twenty-five dollars be granted to the following schools for
1918.
Aylmer Collegiate Institute......$650
Dutton High School............... 650
Vienna High School............... 325
2. That the St. Thomas Collegiate Institute be
granted an amount equivalent to twenty per cent of the cost
of maintenance of County pupils.
3. That the grants to Continuation and Fifth Class
Schools be made on the basis of two dollars and fifty cents
to each dollar granted by the Government.
