927 COUNTY OF ELGIN By-Law No. 927 TO APPOINT A COUNTY TREASURER". Passed 17fuh December, 1918. The Elgin County Council enacts: (1 ) That Benjamin B. Graham be and is hereby appointed Treasurer of the County of Elgin at a salary of twelve hun- dred dollars per annum to commence on the first day of January 1919. (2) That the Treasurer be required to perform all duties of the office as directed by law, By-Law or Order- in-Council and that he shall submit to the Warden and Chair- man of the Finance Committee a monthly statement of the re- ceipts and disbursements of County monies. (3) That the Treasurer be required to procure at the expense of the County and keep on file in the Molsons Bank or such other place as the Council may direct, a bond for ten thousand dollars ($10,000) in a guarantee company, said bond to be approved by this Council.
