TO AlVIEND_BY-LAW NO. 897"
1919
WHEREAS it is deemed advisable to provide for
the connection of county roads in the County of Elgin
with county roads in the Counties of Middlesex and Kent
Passed 30th July
AND WHEREAS the St. Thomas Suburban Road Com-
mission has recommended changes in the designation of
roads numbered 30 and 37, with a view to securing a bet-
ter entrance to the streets of the City of St. Thomas
The Elgin County Council enacts
That By-Law numbered 897, as amended by By-Laws
numbered 902, 909 and 915, be and is hereby further amend-
ed by changing the designation of roads numbered, 1, 3, 4,
8, 12, 14, 19, 30, 35, 37, to read as follows:-
Road No. 1.- The Graham Road in Township of Aldboro~gh.
Commencing at the road between concessions 12 and 13, the
road between lots 18 and 19 and its continuation running
northerly to the County boundary, the middle of the main
channel of the River Thames, save and except the portion
within the Village of West Lome
Road No. .- The Furnival Road in Township of Aldborough
Commencing at the road between concessions 12 and 13, the
road between lots 6 and 7 to the Gore and continuing north-
erly between lots 8 and 9 to the road between concessions
2 and 3, thence easterly on said road to the road between
lots 14 and 15 in concession 2, thence northerly on said
road to the County boundary, the middle of the main channel
of the River Thames, save and except the portion of the
Furnival Road within the Village of Rodney.
Road NQ.!.-l±.- Commencing at the Kent County boundary line
at the intersection of the road between concessions 4 and
5 of the Township of Orford, the County boundary line,
south to intersection of road between concessions 7 and 8,
Township of Aldborough. The road between said concessions
7 and 8, Township of Aldborough from the western boundary
of the Township to the Furnival Road between lots 6 and 7,
save and except the portion within the Village of Rodney.

Road No. 8.- Commencing in the road between the 9th and
10th concessions of the Townsh~p of Dunwich at line be-
tween lots 8 and 9, the Lake Road easterly and southerl:'i'
through lots 9 and 10, thence northerly the road betweerl
lots 10 and 11 to the given road in concession 9, thencE!
northeasterly on said road to the Currie Road between lots
12 and 13 in the 8th concession, thence northerly along
said road to the road at the north of concession 1, thence
easterly along said road to the road between lots 13 and
14, thence northerly to the County boundary, the middle
of the main channel of the River Thames, save and except
the portion within the Village of Dutton.

Road__~~.- The Road in the Township of Dunwich, be-
tween lots 6 and 7, commencing at the road between con-
cessions A and 5 north of A, running northerly to the
County boundary, the centre of the main channel of the
River Thames
Road No 14.- The townline between the Township of Dunwich
and Southwold, commencing at the road known as the Talbot
Road (Burwell's Corners) and running northerly to the
County boundary, the middle of the main channel of the
River Thames, excepting the following: From the Talbot
Road north (no. 17) northerly to north limit of road no
13·
Road No.1 .- The Middlesex County boundary line from
road between the first and second . concessions, Township
of Delaware, west to the road in the Township of Southw()ld,
between lots 1 and 18, thence southerly through concessions
2, 3 and 4, and between lots 25 and 26, north of the Talbot
Road north to the Back Street
Road No. 30.- Commencing at the north boundary of the
City of St. 'Thomas, Balaclava Street, in Township of
Yarmouth, lot 5, concession 9, the road in the rear of the
ninth concession, lots 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, up to and including
the road between lots 8 and 9 in the range south and first
and second ranges north of the Edgeware Road, the tenth
and eleventh concessions
Road No. - Commencing at New Sarum on 'l'albot Road in
Township of Yarmouth, lot 21, the road running northerly
through concession 9, R.S.E.R., 1st and 2nd ranges N.E.R.,
concession 10 and concession 11, to the townline between
Yarmouth and South Dorchester, thence northerly along said
townline to the County boundary line between the Townships
of North and South Dorqhester.

Road No. 32.- The ~oad in the Township of Yarmouth
between lots 7 and 8 in concessions 5, 6 and 7 and
concession 8, to Wellington Street and Wellington Street
west to the City of St. Thomas.
