BY-LAW No. 1174
To Authorize the Warden and Treasurer
to Borrow the Sum of Two Hundred and Fifty
Thousand Dollars
The Elgin County Council enacts:
That the Warden and Treasurer be and are
hereby authorized to borrow the sum of Two Hundred and
Fifty Thousand Dollars from the Bank of Montreal, as
it may be required to meet the expenditure of the
Corporation of the COill1ty of Elgin during 1932, and give
as security therefor notes of one thousand or ten thousand
dollars each.
