A By-law to provide for the total expenditure on system.
of county roads in the County of.... }!;¿'¡ลก.ifl. . . .. .. .. . . . . . . as approved
by Order-in_Council, during the year 19 44"
VflfEREAS The Highway Improvement Act, Chapter 56, R.B.a., 1937,
and amendments,. requires that th,e total expenditure on county roads
and bridges be provided for annually by county By-law.
THEREFORE the council of the corporation of the ßaid County of
. _,"...' ';ÕI ..... .,.::&J.,gj.:Q...". ..,,¿-.¡,...... "" ..-enacts as follows:
(1) The sum of $. ...II.,4¡',.qqq,..o,q. .,.is hereby appropriated from monies
raised by levy, debentures and government subsidy, for expenditure
upon construction on the said system during the year 19 4~
(2 ) The sum of $ H .J.4¡Q..aaa.;.aQ,. ,.,.is hereby appropriated from monies
raised by levy and government subsidy for expenditure upon maintenance
and repair of the roads in the said system during the year 1944.,
(3) The said monies shall be expended under the direction of the
duly appointed county road superintendent and on work performed in
accordance with the last revised regulations respecting county roads
issued by the Department of Hizhways of Ontario.
(4) The clerk shall transmit duplicate copies of this By-law to the
Deputy Minister, Departmen£ of Highways of Ontario, for approval on or
before the 31st of January of the present year.
