~rhe Elgin County Council enacts:
1. That D.M. Lei'tch and Wm. E. Locke be' and are
hereby appointed Auditors, to hold office during good
behaviour and be removable :['or cause ,upon the vote of
'two-thirds of the members of the c ounc il.
2. ':Ch",t it ,shall be the duty of the said Auditors
to exæ:rlÌne and auð,it all accoun'ts affecting the Corporation
or relating to any matter under it,s control or 1¡Yithln its
,jurisdicti on.
3. That the said Auditors be paid an annual salary
of Three Hundred Dollars each; said salary to be paid
quarterly.
4. ':Chat all other by-laws heretofore l'Jassed in this
behalf be and are hereby repealed.
