To Raise Amounts for Count Rates durin 'ear ~946.
WHEREAS an estimate has been made showing that the sum 01' One Hundred
and Sixty-nine Thousand four hundred and fifty-one Dollars is required
to be raised in the several munioipa;Lities for the lawful purposes 01'
the County dtæing the year 1946 on the basisot the equalized assess-
ment as determined in 1945.
AND WHEREAS the estimated amount required for High and Continuation
Sohool purposes based on maintenanoe oosts for 1945 as determined
under provisions of the High Sohools Aot is Thirty-nine Thousand
five hundred and twelve Dollars.

THEREFORE the Council of the Munioipal Corporation of the County
of Elgin enacts:
1. That a rate of six mills on the dollar be levied on all
rateable property in the several municipalities in the County 01'
Elgin as above set forth for ' jhe year 1946.
2. That the amounts required for County and for High and
Continuation School purposes as set forth in the following sohedule
be levied in the respeotive munioipalities during 1946 and paid to
the County Treasurer as by law required.
