A BY-lAW TO PROVIDE FOH A $25,000.00 EXFII:NDITURE op the system
of Coupty Hoads ip the Coupty of Elgip as approved by Order-ip-
C01111Oil, duri Pg the year 1947.
WlIEHEAS the Highway Improvemept Act, Chapter 56, R. S. O. ,
1937 apd amepdmepts, re~uires that the expenditure on county
roads apd bridges be provided for annually by county by-law.
THEHEFORß the council of the 00 rporatiop of the said County
enacts as follows:
(1) The S111a of $ 25,000.00 is hereby appropriated from monies
raised by levy, debeptures and government subsidy for expenditure
upon construction and rœintepance of the said system in the
sàid oounty duripg the year 1947.
(2) The said monies shall be expended under the direction of
the duly appointed county road superintendent apd OP work performed
in accordapce with the Highway Improvement Act.
(3) The clerk shall transmit duplicate copies of this by-l$v
to the Municipal Hoads Branch, Department of Highways of Ontario,
for approval.
