A by-law to oonfirm By-law No. 1173 of the Township of Southwold
bèi1ll.g by-law to olose part òf Invert!less Street in Lot 19, N. T. R. E.
Whereas the Cou.noil of the Township of Southwold on the 3rd
day of January, 1949, did pass By-Law No. 1173 for olosing part of
I1II.verness Street i1ll. Lot 19, N. T. R. E. more partioularly described
in the said By-law, true oopies whereof are hereunto annexed.
And whereas pursuant to the provisions of the Mu.nioipal Aot
the said TownShip By-law shall not have any force until oonfirmed
by a by-law of the Counoil of the County in whioh the township is
situate passed at an ordinary meeting of the Cou.ncilheld not sooner
than three months nor later than one year after the passing of the
by-law of the Counoil of the TownShip.
AND WBEREAS applioation has been made tø the Cøunoil of the
Corporation of the Cou.nty of Elgin for a by-law aonfirming said
TOwtlShip By-law.

of Elgin enaots as follows:-
That By-law Number 1173 of the Tawnshipaf Southwold, being
by-law to close part ot Inverness Street trom Lanark Street North
to the Nort1l1East Corner ot Lot 5 plan 14 ot the Village of Fingal.
and trom that point West te the Union Road, be and the same is hereby
contirmed.
READ a tirst time this 15th day of June 1949.
R:EAD a seoond time this lðth day of June 1949.
1ŒAD a third time and tinally passed this 15th day ot Ju.ne :!-949.

'rOWNSHIP of SOUTIIWOLD
The C01IDCil of' the Township of' Southwold enacts as f'ollows:-
1. That from and af'ter the date of' the passing of this by-law, all that
part of Inverness street from Lanaxk treet north to the north east corner
of, lot 5, plan 14 of the village of Fingal,and f'rom that point west to
The Union Road,. be closed and stopped up.
. .
2. That th's by-law shall not have any f'orce·unless and untill it is
confirmed by the Council of the Corporation of the County of' Elgin passed
at a meeting of that Council.
Read a f'irst, second Ðnd third times and finally passed
this 3rd day of January 1949
