By-Law No. 1596.
TO CONFIHlv! By-Law No 1365 of the Council of the '.~o'NnslÜp of
Malahide for stopping and closing i7P and conveying allowance
for road being part of Lot 1, ConcessiOJl 6, of the 'J'ownship
of Malahide and for fixing and declaring the terms upon which
the same shall be tlisposed of and conveyed.
VVIllmEAS the Council of the 'fownship of lvlalahide did on the JTourth day of
June, 1951, finally pass their By-Law No. 1365 to stop up and close that
part of the said Road in the said Township and hereinafter described, and
WllERi£AS by subsection 6, Section 469, of the Municipal Act it is enacted
as follows:
"A by-law of the council of a township, passed under clause (c)
of subsection 1, in the case of a township in unorganized
territory, shall not have any force until approved by a judge
of the district court of the district in which the township
is situated, and in,other cases until confirmed by a by-law of
the co1j.ncil of the county in which the township is situate
passed at an ordinary meeting öf'the council held. not sooner
than three Dlonths or later than one year after the passing of
the by-law of the council of the, 'fownship. It and
WlIE\REAS the said Township of lVIalahide is situate in the County of
Elgin and. the said Council of the said Township have applied to this
COLU1cil to pass, ',a , by-law confirming the said by-law No. 1365 at the
current, ordinary and regular sittings of thin Council commencing
on the 11th day of September A. D. 1951, the same being held not
soonel' than three months nor later than one year after the passing
of said by-law No. 1365 of 'the said Council of the Township of
Malahide and it appearc1 proper that the said by-law shall be confirmed.
AND WIlEREAS, Public Notice has been given as reQuired by the Municipal
Act, byhaving said. notice published in the Aylmer Express Newspaper
for four consecutive times and, also by a Proclamation posted in
conspicuous places near the property, of the intention of the Council
to pass a by-law for closing and disposing of the said road allowance.

THE COUNTY 0]]' ELGIN:-
That the allowance :t'or road, being composed of that part of Lot One
in the Sixth Concession more particularly described as follows:
'Church é3treet in the Village of Orwell according
to Plan #l5, for Middlesex (now Elgin) be and the same is hereby
stopped up and closed, and the land given to the property owners,
whose lands adjoin said road allowance on the east aild West thereof;
said property owners to pay all costs of conveyancing etc.
AND IT IS FUlYL'm~R ENACTED: 'rhat the Heeve of the Corporation of the
Township of Malahide be and he is hereby authorized and instructed
for and on behalf' of the said Corporation to execute and attach the
Seal of the Corporation to said Deeds of Conveyance of the above
Described lands.
