By-Law No. 1657.
ItTo Limit Speed of Motor Vehicles on Count ~
No. 40AA, Opposite Royal Canadian Air Force Station. It
WHEREAS the Commanding Officer, of the
Royal Canadian Air Force Station, Aylmer, has re-
quested that the speed of motor vehicles be limited
opposite the built-up area of the station.
AND WHEREAS Section 28, subsection (1)
of the Highway Traffic Act provides for same.
The Council of the Corporation of the
County of Elgin enacts:
THAT no person shall drive a motor vehicle
at a greater rate of speed than thirty miles per hour
from the main gate of the R. C. A. F. Station, south-
erly one thousand feet on County Road No.40AA.,
between Lots 15 and 16, Concession 8, Township of
Malahide.
AND that signs be erected when approval is
received from the Department of Highways, Toronto.
READ a first time this 24th day cof November, 1954.
READ a second time this 24th day of November, 1954.
READ a third time and finally passed this 24th day of
November, 1954.
