WHEREAS it is deemed advisable to amend By-Law No. l499, THEREFORE, the Council of the Corporation of the County of Elgin enac'ts: THAT Section A be amended by including after the word cutting the following, burning, or destroying, so that it will read as follows: IIRestricting and regulating the cutting, burning, or destroying trees in any part of the County" THAT Section One be amended by deleting the figure fourteen and replacing it with the figure sixteen, so that Section One will read as follows: IIThat no cedar or black locust tree of less than five inches, nor any other tree of a diameter less than sixteen inches, measured sixteen inches from the ground, shall be cut by any person within the County. II THAT By-Law No. l499 be, and is hereby amended accordingly. READ a first time this 21st day of March, 1956. READ a second time this 21st day öf March, 1956.
