THE CORPORATION OF· THE COUNTY OF ELGIN
BY-LAW NO. 1726
A By-Law to Amend the By-Law Adopting a Plan of County Road
Improvement and Estab¡ishing a County Road System in the
County of Elgin under the Highway Improvement Act.
The Council of the Corporation of the County of Elgin enacts
as By-Law Number 1726 as follows:
1. The Schedule of By-Law Number ~ being the
origninal By-Law establishing a County oad System in
the County of Elgin as amended by By-Law Number ~O52
being the last consolidating By~Law re-establish1ng
the said system and further am~nded by subsequent
amending By-Laws is hereby amended by adding thereto
the road designated and described as follows:
DESCRIPTION
BEING a portion of the Road Allowance between
the townships of Yarmouth and Southwold, and
DESIGNATED the road used in lieu of the Road Allowance
COUNTY ROAD southward and westward from the Road Allowance
Number 25. ,
to King's Highway No. 3 and No. ~. COMMENCING
opposite the unopened Road Allowance between
Concession IX Yarmouth, and Range I South of
the Edgeware Road, THENCE Southward along the
Road Allowance Between the townships of Yarmouth
and Southwold; A DISTANCE of approximately
1,700 ft; THENCE Southward and Westward along the
Road Allowance used in lieu of the townline
through the townships of Yarmouth and Southwold¡
11. DISTANCE of approximately 3,500 ft. to King's
Highway No. 3 and No'. ~.
2. The road as designated and described in paragraph 1,
is hereby added to, and included in the County Road
System of the County of Elgin.
3. This By-Law shall come into force upon the approval
of the Lieutenánt-Governor in Council.
