Bv-Law to Authorize the Closing and Selling of Part of Concessioll Three,
in the Township of' Dunwich."
WHEREAS the Council of the Township of Dunwich on the 2nd day
of September, 1960, A. Do, did pass By-La1of No. 1822 to authorize the
closing and selling of part of Concession Three in the T010filShip of Dun1ofich,
more particularly described in the said By-La1of, true copies hereof are
hereunto annexed.
AND VlliEREAS pursuant to the provisions of the Municipal Act,
the said TOWI1Ship By-Law shall not, have any force until confirmed by a
By-Law of the Council of the County in 10fhich the township is situate
passed at an ordinary meeting of the Council held not sooner than three
months, nor later than one year, after the passing of the By-Law of the
Council of the Township.
AND WHEREAS application has been made to the Council of the
Corporation of the County of Elgin for a By-La1of confirming the said
township by-la~I.,
NOW THEREFORE the Council ,of the Corporation of the County of
Elgin enacts as follows:
THAT By-Law No. 1822, of the T010filShip of Dunvvich, being a
by-Law to authorize the closing and selling of part of Concession Three
in the T010filship of Dunwich, be, and the same is hereby confirmed.
READ a first time this 19th day of January, 1961.
READ a second time this 19th day of January, 1961.
READ a third time, and finally passed this 19th day of
January, 1961.

That the Reeve and Treasurer be authorized to dispose of and
convey title to the Purchaser of this said portion of Concession
Three in the Township of Dun1ofich.
All and singular that certain parcel or tract of land and prem-
ises situate, l-zing and being part ófLot Lettered "c" in the
Third Concession, in the Township of Dunwich and County of Elgin
and which may be more fully described as follows: BEGINNING at
a point on the line bet10feen Lots "B" and "c" in the Third Con-
cession of the said T010fnship of DUn10fich at a distance of One
chain and Seventy-four and one-half links (1 ch. 74~ 1.) from
the corner post in the Westerly angle of said Lot Lettered "C";
THENCE magnetically South Eighty-four degrees Twenty-five min-
utes ($40 25') East, Two chains and Four links (2 ch. 41.)'
THENCE North Fifty-four degrees Forty-five minutes (540 45'1
East, Four chains and Thirty-two links (4 ch. 32 1.); THENCE
North Sixty-three degrees Ten minutes (630 10') Eastè Two chains
Eighty-eight and one-half links (2 ch. $$g 1.)· THEN E North
Fifty-six degrees TWenty-five minutes (56 25'1 East Nine
chains, Eight and one-half links (9 ch. $~ 1.); THENéE North
Forty-two degrees Thirty minutes (42.0 30') East, One chain,
Twenty-two links (1 ch. 22 1.) more or less to the McIntosh
Road.

That part of Concession Three in the Township of Dunwich herein-
after described shall be closed, and which said portion is more
particularly described as follows:

THEREFORE the Municipal Council of the Township of Dunwich enacts
as follows:
AND WHEREAS the Municipalporporation of the T010fnship of DUn10fich
has complied with Section 472 of the Municipal Act as to advertising
their intention of closing and disposing of part , of Concession Three
in the Township of Dunwich.
AND WHEREAS the Council of this Municipality feels that this power
should be exercised as regards part of Concession Three of the Town-
ship of Dunwich.
WHEREAS under Section 469 of the Municipal Act, the Coµncil of any
Municipality is given the power to pass by-laws for stopping up and
disposing of any Highway or parÿ thereof within the Municipality.
Being a By-law to authorize the closing and selling of
Concession Three in the Township of Dun1ofich.
