By-La1of to Clos~ Centre Stre~t South of Otter Street According to Reg-
istered Plan No. 202-f2T the Village of Straffordvill~~n the T010fnShip
of Bayham."
WHEREAS the Council of the Township of Bayham on the 6th day of
September, 1960, A. D., did pass By-La1of No. 1/+22 to close Centre Street
south of Otter Street accorMng to Registered PaIn No. 205 for the Village

of Straffordville, in the T010fnShip of Bayham, more particularly described
in the said By-Law, true copies hereof are hereunto annexed.
AND WHEREAS pursuant to the provisions of the Municipal Act,
the said T010fnShip By-La1of shall not have any force until confirmed by a
By-La1of of the Council of the County in 10fhich the t010fnship is situate
passed at an ordinary meeting of the Council held not sooner than three
months, nor later than one year, after the passing of the By-Law of the
Council of the To¡.¡nship.
AND WHEREAS application has been made to the Council of the
Corporation of the County of Elgin for a By-La1of confirming the said to~mship
by-la1of.
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the County of
Elgin enacts as foll01ofs:
THAT By-La1of No. 1422, of the T010fnShip of Bayham, being a by-la1of
to close Centre Street south of Otter Street according to Registered Plan
No. 205 for the Village of Straffordville, in the T010fnship of Bayham, be,
and the same is hereby confirmed.
READ a first time this 19th day of January, 1961.
READ a second time this 19th day of January, 1961.
READ a third time, and finally passed this 19th day of January,
1961.

I am enclosing a certified copy of our By-La1of
No. 1422, to close a portion of Centre StÐeet in the
Village of Straffordville. This street is bwing closed and
a new one opened to facilitate a new sub-division incorp-
orating additional lands not presently &ivided into lots
by Plan 205.
As the final registration of the ne10f plan is
being held up by this action, I 1ofould appreciate having
the County Council pass a confirming by-la1of at the earliest
possible time.
