THIS By-Law shall not become effec'tive un'til approved by the Department of Transport. Any person violating any of the provisions of this by-law shall be subject to a penalty of not more than Ten Dollars ($10.00) for the first offence and not more than Fifty Dollars ($50.00) for every subsequent offence, exclusive of costs, and all such penalties shall be recoverable under the Ontario Summary Convictions Act. When properly worded signs have been erected and are on display, no person shall park a vehicle on the highways or parts of highways, known as County Road No. 27, BEING the Road Allowance and the Road Allowance as widened between Concessions III and IV in the Township of Yarmouth opposite the westerly One Thousand Feet of Lot 18, Concession III in the Township of Yarmouth. PENALTIES J:>ARKIN(L RESTRICTIONS No person shall park a vehicle on any street other than a one- way street unless on the right hand side of the street, having regard for the direction in which the vehicle had been proceeding and unless the right front and right rear wheels or runners of the vehicle are parallel to and distant respectively not more than six inches from the edge of the roadway Y~hicle includes a motor vehicle, trailer, traction engine, farm tractor, roadbuilding machine a~d any vehicle drawn, propelled or driven by any kind of power, including muscular power, but not including the cars of electric or steam railways running only upon rails. METHOD OF PARKINß Street or highwa includes a common or public highway, street, avenue, parkway, driveway, square, place, bridge, viaduc't or trestle, designed and intended for, or used by, the general public for the passage of vehicles. Park means the standing of a vehicle, whether occupied or not, otherwise than temporarily for the purpose of and while actually engaged in loading or unloading.
