¡~OW TUBRBFORE BE IT ENACtED as a J3y...bw of the
County of Elgin, that Mr. Hector McLean BE and the same is
hereby appointed County Àssessment Commissioner pursuant to,
section 93a(1) of The Asaessment Act, R.S.G. 1960, Chapter 23,
as amended, such appointment to become effective January 1, 1967.
'~IEREAS BY VIRTUE of Section 93a(1} of the Assessment
Aot, the Council ,of a county may, subjeot to the approva1 of
the !4inister, pass a by...law appointing a County Assessment
C~~$sioner who shall have all the powers, duties and privi-
leges under ,this and every other .Aot of an assessor. an~ assess-
ment qo~nissioner or a count¥ assessor in respeot of the county
and tnetownships, towns and villages in 'the oounty, and who
shall be deemed for the purposes ofthls and every other Act to
be the assessor for each of such local municipalities.
