Bein to Establish the Annual Remunera'tion to be Paid To
The Warden of the County of Elgin."
W'HEREAS it is deemed advisable to establish the annual
remuneration to be paid to the Warden of the County of Elgin.
NOW THEREFORE the Council of :the Corporation of the
Coun'ty of Elgin enacts as follows:
1. THAT the annual remuneration of the ~varden of the
Coun'ty of Elgin for ,attending meetings of the
Council,meeti~gs of the various Committees and
performing all other duties applicable to his:
office including mileage necessarily travelled
shall be 'fhree Thousand Dollars ($3,000.00) per
annum, payable in twelve equal insta1ments.
2. In addi,tion to the annual remuneration established
in Clause (1) thel\larden shall be paid the usual
Convention expenses allowed by Council for' a'ttending
Conventions outside the municipality.
3. A grant of Two Hundred and Fifty Dollars (,$250.00)
shall be paid each year to the Warden of Elgin
County to help defray the cost of the ';varden fS
Banquet held each year in the month of June
