The Council of the Corporation of the County of Elgin enacts as follows: THNT the following holidays be, and are hereby adopted for regular hourly rated, or salaried employees: (1) Paid HQ~ - New Years, Good Friday, Victoria Day, July 1st, Civic Holiday, Labour Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Boxing Day. (2) When any of the paid holidays falls on a Saturday, or a Sunday, a day off shall be granted to each employee in lieu thereof, and the day off shall be designat'ed by the Head of the Department in which he, or she is employed. (3) Special up to three days in event of bereavement in immediate family (i.e. father, mother, husband, wife, or child.) (4) A~nua1 Holidays For employees of the Elgin County Jail _ Þì:s provided in Regulation 450 of the Revised Regulations of Ontario, 1960.
