By-Law No. 1951
It Being . to Amend By-Law No. 1911 of the Count E1f.!:in. "
WHEREAS, when By-Law No. 1911 of the County of Elgin was enacted
the estimates for the year 1966 were not established and consequently
'the estimates adopted for the year 1965 were used in paragraph number
two.
AND WHEREAS the estimates for 1966 have now been adopted and it
is deemed advisable to amend paragraph two accordingly.
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE COUNTY OF
ELGIN ENACTS as follows:
1. That By-Law No. 1911 of the County of Elgin be and is hereby
amended by deleting paragraph number two and substituting the following
in lieu thereof
"AND WHEREAS the total amount of the estimated, revenues of the
Corporation as set forth in the estimates adopted for the year 1966,
not including revenues derivable or derived from the sale of assets,
borrowings or issuance of debentures or from surplus, including
arrears of taxes is two million two hundred and sixty seven thousand
five hundred and ten dollars.
READ a first time this 16th day of November, 1966.
READ a second time this 16th day of November, 1966.
READ a third time, and finally passed this 16th day
of November, 1966.
