By-Law No. 1961
"Beinll: a By-Law to Amend By-Law No. 1476 of the Count: i!!..:. "
WHEREAS it is deemed advisable to amend By-Law No. 1476 of
the County of Elgin.
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the County
of Elgin enacts as ßo11ows:
1. THAT paragraph No. 2 of By-Law No. 1476 be deleted and the
following substituted therefore:
"No person shall operate any vehicle for any of the purposes
of a salvage shop, a salvage yard or a second-hand shop, either on his
own account or as the agent or servant of another person, without first
obtaining a license to do so. Upon app1ioation for such a license the
app1ioant shall produoe a letter of reoommendation from the Chief
Constable of the applicant's municipality, or a letter from the Clerk
of the Magistratets Court advising that the applicant has no criminal
record. The fee for such à license shall be $5.00."
