WHEREAS in By-Law No. 1960, D. C.Waite was appointed a
member of the County of Elgin Planning Board for the City of St. Thomas.
AND WHEREAS Mr. W'ai't;e has moved from the City of St. Thomas,
and resigned as an Alderman on the st. Thomas City Council.
AND WHEREAS the St. Thomas City Council has authorized the
appointment of Alderman Harold N. Brooks to the County of Elgin
Planning Board to fulfil the unexpired term of Alderman D. C. Waite.
NOW THEREFÖRE the Council of the Corporation of the County
of Elgin enacts as follows:
1. THAT By-Law No. 1960 of the County of Elgin be amended by
deleting therefrom the name of D. C. Waite and suþstituting therefore
the name of Harold N. Brooks,
2. THAT this By-Law shall come into force and effect when the
appointment of Mr. Brooks is approved by the Minister of Municipal
Affairs
READ a first time this 21st day of June, 1967
READ a second time this 21st day of June, 1967
READ a third time, and finally passed this 21st day of
June:, 1967

conveyed to me in your letter of June 23, 1967, and in accordance with
the provisions of section J of The Planning Act, I hereby approve the
appointment of Alderman Harold N. Brooks to membership on the County
of Elgin Planning Board for a term of office expiring January 1, 1968.
